Changing Font Size in MPUI
MPUI or Mplayer for Windows, is one of alternative media player application used for playing film or movie.
The main advantages of MPUI compared with another media player application is MPUI already contains all necessary codecs for most files so it doesn’t need any external codecs to be installed.
MPUI can be downloaded at http://mulder.dummwiedeutsch.de/home/?page=projects#mplayer . In that Package, it will contains SMPlayer, MPUI, and various codecs.
If we installed MPUI, sometime we found that the size of subtitle font is bigger than usual font size compared with another media player like Windows Media Player or DVD Power Player. But don’t worry, although MPUI doesn’t have GUI to change the font size, but actually we can change font size.
The way is we should manually edit the config file located in “MPlayer for Windowsmplayer” folder.
Open that config file into the text editor, i used Notepad++ for editing that file, and than add the line for configuring the font size and another stuff like bellow :
## Added configuration
subfont-encoding=unicode
utf8=yes
ffactor=10
sub-bg-alpha=0
sub-bg-color=0
subpos=100
subalign=2
subfont-autoscale=2
subfont-blur=1.0
subfont-outline=1.0
subfont-text-scale=3.0
subfont-osd-scale=2
After that save the configuration and than open the MPUI.
Congratulation, the MPUI subtitle font size now like usual media player
